What is Screw Puzzle?
A single-player puzzle about planning and matching. Layered wooden boards hold colorful screws, and your tray starts with five slots. Remove all screws and boards without filling the tray with unmatched colors. Play online in a mobile or desktop browser without downloading.
How to play step by step
Tap an exposed screw on a top board to move it to the tray. Three screws of the same color clear automatically. Covered boards cannot be used: remove all screws from the top board to drop it and reveal the layer underneath. Clear every board to win.
Tray space, undo and restarting
The starting tray holds five screws. If it fills after matches clear, the attempt stops until you undo, restart or choose an optional extra slot. Undo and restarting are free. There is no timer, so plan your next match before filling the remaining space.
100 levels and increasing difficulty
Begin with simple puzzles and encounter more colors and layers every 15 levels. Completing a level unlocks the next, and unlocked levels can be replayed for better stars. Every level can be solved with the starting tray without purchasing assistance.
How stars work
Earn three stars by finishing without hints, an extra slot or undo. Using assistance or one to three undos caps the result at two stars. More than three undos earns one star. Your best result is kept. Stars are not coins and do not increase your wallet balance.
Hints, extra slots and coins
Each account has a limited total free hint allowance, followed by paid hints. An extra slot has one free trial per account, then costs coins for the current attempt only. Starting a new attempt removes it. The remaining free allowance and current prices appear before confirmation and can be changed by the platform. Sign in to use the wallet shared across Haneen games. Assistance is optional; undo and restarting remain free.
Daily challenges and stamps
The daily puzzle changes according to the platform date. Complete it while signed in to earn one stamp for that day. Seven stamps unlock the exclusive Aurora style; the days do not need to be consecutive. The daily puzzle is separate from your campaign, and you can return to your campaign attempt.
The style shop
Wood is available from the start. Steel and Gold can be purchased for the displayed coin price after confirmation. Purchased styles remain on your account and can be equipped again. They change appearance and do not add tray slots. Aurora is unlocked with stamps.
Challenge a friend
Finish a level without an extra slot, then create and share a challenge link. Your friend plays the same puzzle and tries to use fewer undos. The number of screws is fixed, so the comparison uses undos. You do not need to play at the same time. Links last for 30 days.
Saving, controls and sound
Guests save progress in the same browser; clearing its data or changing devices does not transfer that progress. Signing in syncs completed levels, stars and owned styles with your account. An ongoing attempt is saved on the current device. Check that sync has completed before switching devices. Play with touch, mouse, or Tab and Enter. Screw numbers help distinguish colors. Mute or adjust sounds and switch between Arabic and English.
A planning tip
Inspect the colors already in your tray, then look for an accessible group that completes a set of three. Revealing a new board can be more useful than starting another color you cannot finish. Keep a spare slot whenever possible.
